Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Pieceful (the “App”), provided by Pieceful (“we”, “us” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service and Licence

Pieceful is an offline jigsaw game offering built-in levels, daily puzzles and puzzles made from photos you select or capture. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App for lawful, non-commercial entertainment on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and App Store rules.

You must not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass security, introduce malicious code, exploit bugs or use the App to infringe law or third-party rights, except where law expressly permits otherwise.

2. Your Photos

You retain all rights in photos you choose and confirm that you are permitted to use them. The current App processes photos on your device and does not upload them to our servers. You are responsible for originals and backups. Deleting the App may permanently delete locally stored puzzles and progress.

3. Progress and Content

Progress and preferences are stored locally. We do not promise cloud backup, synchronisation or recovery. Daily puzzles may unlock according to the device date. We may reasonably modify, add, suspend or remove content and features.

4. Purchases and Advertising

If paid features or “Remove Ads” are offered in a production release, Apple handles billing, refunds, restoration and payment processing under App Store terms. The current development version contains purchase and advertising placeholders only. Future integrations will be disclosed before release.

5. Ownership

The software, design, built-in artwork, branding and supplied content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. No ownership transfers to you.

6. Availability and Consumer Rights

The App is provided with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or recovery of local data. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Liability

We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when you accepted these Terms, business losses arising from personal use, or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude liability where unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Termination and Changes

You may stop using the App at any time. The licence terminates if you materially breach these Terms. We may update the Terms for product, legal or operational changes, update the effective date, and provide notice where required.

9. Law and Contact

Mandatory protections in your country of residence apply. Subject to them, these Terms are governed by the laws and competent courts applicable at the operator’s principal place of business. Apple is not responsible for support or claims except as required by App Store terms.
