PIECEFUL · LEGAL

Privacy Policy

Legal information for Pieceful in English (United States).

Effective date: June 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pieceful handles information when you use Pieceful.

1. Privacy Summary

Pieceful is designed to work offline. The current version does not require an account, does not connect to a developer-operated server, and does not include analytics, tracking, advertising, attribution, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

2. Information Processed on Your Device

The App processes:

  • Photos you expressly select from your photo library or capture with the camera.
  • Cropped puzzle images created from those photos.
  • Puzzle progress, move counts, elapsed time, completed levels, daily-puzzle records, settings, sound and vibration preferences, and local purchase flags.

This information is stored in the App’s local sandbox and is not transmitted to us in the current version.

3. Photo Library and Camera Permissions

Photo-library access is used only when you choose a photo. Camera access is used only when you choose to take a photo. You can deny or revoke either permission in iOS Settings and continue using built-in and daily puzzles. Photos are not uploaded by Pieceful.

4. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Local settings and progress remain until changed, reset, or the App is deleted. Created photo puzzles remain in the App sandbox until removed by app functionality or the App is deleted. Deleting the App normally removes its local sandbox. Apple-controlled device or iCloud backups may retain app data according to your Apple settings and Apple’s policies; we cannot access or delete those backups.

5. Purchases

If App Store purchases are enabled in a production release, Apple processes payment and account information. We may receive transaction status needed to unlock or restore a feature, but we do not receive your full payment-card details. The current development implementation does not contain production StoreKit processing.

6. Advertising and Analytics

The current version contains no production advertising or analytics SDK. Before introducing any such service, we will update this Policy, the App Store privacy disclosures, consent flows where required, and identify relevant providers and data practices.

7. Feedback and External Services

Selecting “Feedback” opens your external email application. If you send an email, your address, message, attachments, and email metadata are handled by your email provider and received by us for support. Do not include sensitive information you do not want to share.

8. Children

Pieceful does not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-operated services. Because the App has no account or server collection, photos and progress stay on the device. Parents or guardians should supervise photo and camera use. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information by email.

9. Security

We rely on iOS sandboxing and reasonable development practices to protect local data. No system is completely secure. Protect your device, passcode, backups, and original photos.

10. Your Choices and Rights

You can control photo and camera permissions in iOS Settings, change sound and vibration settings in the App, and delete local data by deleting the App. If you contact us by email, you may request access to or deletion of support correspondence, subject to legal exceptions. Applicable state privacy rights remain available, although the current App does not collect personal information on our servers.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy when the App or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide notice when required. Material new collection will not begin until appropriate disclosures and permissions are in place.
